OBJECTIVES, MISSION & VISION |
 CSAWUZ’s mission is to organize workers employed in the Zambian Public Service in order to persursue and protect their collective and individual interests.
In order to achieve this mission, CSAWUZ has identified eight medium-term objectives, which it will seek to fulfill over the next four years. These are:- |
- To work towards creating a cadre of knowledgeable and militant Union Members
- To build the capacity of branch structures to ensure sustained grass root organizing, recruitment and grievance
handling
- To establish mechanism for main streaming genders into all Union operations and oncoporate HIV/AIDS interventions
- To strengthen the capacity of the Union to undertake research and formulate base-line documentation for collective bargaining, policy input and dialogue
- To foster meaningful partnership and working alliances with likeminded organizations and the broader civil society
- To broaden the service package for members over collective bargaining and grievance handling services
- To strengthen the Union’s capacity to provide regular, timely and user-friendly information to the membership
- To diversify the revenue base of the Union and complete construction of office building
